News Release: Do the Mu!—“Miniature Madness”
Learn about how the doll house in The Odditorium exhibition was created, then make some miniatures of your own with artist Teresa Russell at “Do the Mu!” on Saturday, August 4.
The Massillon Museum’s “Do the Mu!” workshop for all ages is free and open to everyone. Participants may drop in any time between noon and 2:00 p.m. on the first Saturday of every month for a Museum activity. No pre-registration is required.
Visitors on August 4 can see The Odditorium in the main gallery, the Studio M exhibition of Photography by Supporters of Relay for Life, The Paul Brown Era, The Immel Circus, photographs of Historic Fourth Street, and two Civil War displays. It’s also fun to take some silly pictures in the vintage photobooth and visit Oscar the Skeleton.
The Massillon Museum is located at 121 Lincoln Way East (Ohio Route 172) in downtown Massillon. A visit to the Massillon Museum is always free. Free parking is available on adjacent streets and in nearby city lots. For more information, call the Museum at 330-833-4061 or visit massillonmuseum.org.
