PESTO! with Connie Winkler – Tuesday, September 20 from 6pm to 7:30pm ($20+tax). Pesto can turn any meal into a gourmet dish and here is the chance to learn 4 delicious recipes from a long time Herb Society member and Herb enthusiast.
An Apple a Day with Jennifer McMullen (of LOCAL ROOTS) - Saturday, Sept 24 from 10am to 11:30am ($20+tax). Come and support LOCAL ROOTS while learning all about apples, what they work best with, and 4 new recipes from a Local Roots producer.
Braising Chicken with Ed Butdorf (of Happy Chix Farms) - Tuesday, Oct 4 from 6pm to 7:30pm ($24+tax). Once you have experienced one of Ed’s classes or tasted his free-range chickens, you will definitely be hooked! And now he is teaching us how to properly braise your own chicken.
Cheese Making with Karen Geiser - Wednesday, Oct 5 from 6pm to 7:30pm ($20+tax). Local Roots producer Karen of Karen’s Garden will share her techiques for making Mozzarella, Soft Herb Cream Cheese and even Yogurt.
Classic Italian Dessert #2 with Fran Grande Fuller - Monday, Oct 10 from 6pm to 7:30pm ($20+tax). Since the earlier class filled up so quickly, Fran has agreed to do a second session. Come learn and taste her incredible Tiramisu!
Halloween Party Plannign with Emily Bess – Thursday, Oct 13 from 6pm to 7:30pm ($20+tax). Emily has some wonderful Halloween treat and decorating ideas that you are sure to enjoy making and sharing with your family & friends.
Coffee Tasting with Alptekin of Al’s Beanery - Saturday, Oct 15 from 10am to 11:30am ($20+tax). With his Turkish background, Alptekin has developed a passion for coffee and will be sharing his knowledge, experience, and 5 unique coffees with us.
Do You Have a GROUPON? There are so many cooking classes being planned and scheduled between now and the end of this year that we just can’t fit them into a single email message. And although your Groupon will expire in early October, all you really need to do is REGISTER for a class – the class itself can take place after the GROUPON expires.
