Why is it that the Social Media giant Twitter seems to still have a problem with running out of capacity to handle traffic? This NEVER happens with Face Book, ever. When you market yourself as the live breaking news site and up to the second home of communication, shouldn’t your servers be up to the task?
I understand small companies websites getting an unusually high number of hits due to a certain event and crashing, but seriously, Twitter? This same message has been a constant with Twitter for many years. In 2008 it seemed like you would see the whale more often than the Twitter site when you went to twitter.com.
If Twitter wants to remain relevant, I suggest that they buy some more server space. They helped create the demand, or push it along, for instant gratification. I want to tweet and will not be denied. Here let me check again….still the Whale, well I’m not Ahab, but if I could throw a harpoon through the screen I would.
At least I have an outlet for my being Twittered off…Have a great New Year everyone!
